MS Changed with bsr

Introduction to Body Stress Release

BSR is a non-therapeutic complementary health technique based on the principle that the body can heal itself. We identify lines of tension and release them. We don’t diagnose or treat conditions. We don’t do massage, prescribe medication, manipulate limbs or work with machines. The information below is drawn from reports given by the client on his/her BSR experience.

Case Study Information

Most important point:

WHOLE BODY

Most important point description:

Client presented with extreme over all pain, walking was a challenge, sitting in the chair and getting on the BSR bed was painful. Client was exhausted from the constant pain and lack of sleep. Totally consumed by depression being trapped in a non functioning body.

Other symptoms:

•2015• Client’s neck could not move, clenched jaw, heartburn, constipation, left hand had minimal mobility. No bladder control has to use a catheter a few times a day to empty the bladder.

Additional information:

Client had been diagnosed with MS 8 years prior to starting BSR. She said she was trapped in a body that was not hers, she had been from doctor to specialist over the years in search of some form of relief. She stopped working, her husband took her car away from her, she lost all form of her own identity... Life that she knew was reduced to hopelessness, depression and anxiety . Client was extremely sceptical on trying a natural alternative, her mindset was medication fixes everything. I explained BSR to her and the benefits etc… a few months later she booked 3 sessions (happy dance on my side)

Impact on life:

The first and second session I did the standard release (my standard includes Anterior Rib stress and Anterior en mass Stress), due to pain levels and sensitivity slight impulses were applied. By session 3, the client was much more relaxed, she had felt less stressed, slept better and her vertigo had “vanished” needless to say the client was laughing and smiling something I had not seen before. Session 3 – I did the standard release and added –coccyx release, pubic release, Diaphragm release. We continued BSR sessions 1 x a week for a period of 6 weeks 😊 The 5th BSR session came with a lot of constant pain fluctuating from high to low, which is expected (pain chart came to the rescue) the client was in a lot of pain, she felt like a train road over her, which she knew was a possibility from the beginning. Session 7 – massive changes took place, she could walk faster than previously, she could bend her back and touch her toes, constipation and heartburn were gone, back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and arm mobility had improved. Session 8 and 9, came with a lot of emotions, emotions of joy, hope and being pain free – medication was reduced, family members could not believe it was the same person. Not only did my client get her life back, she bought a car and is driving again after 8 years, she has started a small home baking business and feels her life has meaning again.

Client comments:

Client is radiant, she feels amazing - she says she never though she would feel alive again.

Insights – How the body can heal itself:

For me the onion story comes to mind - layers and layers of locked in tension and emotion were so tightly stored in my clients body from mental and physical trauma that the body went into shut down mode. Seeing the layers peel away gradually and life being restored was a journey i will never forget as a less experienced practitioner...
